Karma on the rocks is as refreshing as a cocktail on the rocks. It is a lifestyle, a celebration of friendship and of life lived to the fullest.

Karma On The Rocks was born from the encounter of two passionate and vibrant women whose lives are closely intertwined.

Both Mona and Dania were raised to the sound of their parents' textile machines, and grew up between the Far East, the shores of the Mediterranean, the scales of the Levant and the great Western capitals.

Linked through family ties and history, both Mona and Dania fell into the fashion industry from a very young age. They grew up in textile factories alongside their fathers, first in Syria, then in UK, Japan and Lebanon, where their families had independent factories producing yarns as well as fabrics.

From the age of 10, Mona was either listening to her father teaching her each step of the production process, or organizing factory visits for her classmates. At that time and for years afterwards, Mona was passionate about the process of fabrics being crafted to the beat of sewing machines, while interacting with the artisans who she and her parents always considered as second family.

Mona's career began in London in 1998 as a fashion agent, sourcing fabrics for international clients such as Joseph, Armani and Façonnable. Throughout her sourcing trips, she fell more in love with the people and tradesmen skills each time.

In 2010, following her father’s path and drawing on many years of experience and first-class technical expertise, Mona acquired and further developed a factory in India specialising in techniques such as high-end embroidery, quality stitching hand finishing to better serve the growing needs to her international network of clients.
